Better Safe Than Sorry - Nicho de Cliche #2
Better Safe Than Sorry - Nicho de Cliche #2
$75.00
The Nicho de Cliche series uses Mexican punched tin dioramas to frame small beaded embroidery artworks, each featuring a different cliche. By showcasing these often used, ubiquitous phrases inside of alters, they are elevated to something nearly sacrosanct.
#2 in the series is “Better Safe Than Sorry.” The origins of this phrase have been traced back to the mid 1800s and once again employ alliteration to enhance its popular appeal. I utter this all the time, because the risks I take are typically more of a creative nature than a physical one.

There is a hook on the back of the frame for hanging.
